Jose Andres shook up the La Cienega dining scene when he opened the Bazaar back in 2008 at the SLS Hotel. Over 5 years later, the room, or rather rooms, continue to stun patrons, and the constantly evolving menu of modernist Spanish tapas continue to wow. From a world class co*cktail menu, and a unique menu, diners come for a magical dining experience from the James Beard award winning chef. Combining traditional Spanish flavors with a cutting edge culinary techniques, Andres is known for creating sophisticated dishes that delight even the pickiest of patrons. Add in the design by Philippe Stark and you have an eatery that oozes a combination of playfulness with modern influences.

Los Angeles may have the best collection of Korean restaurants in the country, but finding a worthy spot outside of Koreatown can be tough. Thankfully K-Town fave Genwa decided to share the wealth and bestow a sibling eatery on Restaurant Row. The Beverly Hills Genwa is every bit as good as the original, with a focus on superior-quality Korean bbq. Come with a group and order one of several multi-course offerings (though be sure it includes the mouthwatering prime galbi). Just be sure not to fill up on the stellar banchan, as tempting as it may be.

If you're yearning for a classic steakhouse experience Morton's is tough to beat. Simple at Morton's is always best: a perfect slab of USDA prime beef, side of creamed spinach and twice baked au gratin potatoes, with a martini accompanied by a blue cheese-stuffed olive for good measure. Be sure to take advantage of Morton's monthly dining deals as well as the early and late night "power hour" for discounted drinks and small bites.

The sushi remains top notch and while chef Matsuhisa's famed cooked creations such as miso black cod are replicated on menus across the world, why not try them where they all began.

While Las Vegas has received its fare share of quality Los Angeles restaurant transplants, Sin City has finally returned the favor in a major way with the second location of Aburiya Raku. Chef Mitsuo Endo has brought his wildly acclaimed robata skills to L.A. offering a lengthy assortment of meats and vegetables expertly grilled over binchotan, the pricey imported Japanese charcoal. The daily specials, dominated by fresh caught seafood of both the cooked and raw varieties, are always a must, as well as Raku's famed homemade tofu which comes in three varieties. You'll want to make several reservations to enjoy it all.

The restaurant, which was been made famous for its usage of an amazing amount of garlic in every dish, doesn't shy customers away because of it. Instead, customers come in droves to sample from their delicious menu. The Los Angeles steakhouse with its Californian-Italian cuisine, ] uses garlic as a major component in the dishes served, and also promotes it by usage of memorabilia. Great dishes here include their Garlic Braised Boneless Short Ribs as well as The Bagna Calda. A perfect dish, the cloves of roasted garlic were creamy and slightly sweet, and served with fresh baked focaccia buns.
