This thread is for posting anything regarding your game's progress.
Think of it as a journal -- from catching Alpha Pokemon, completing requests, or just getting lost in Hisui.

“Caught a shiny Turtwig. cool” are you mocking me, I feel personally attacked

my search for shiny Turtwig continues after the one that got away last night, I’ve got 5 boxes full of Turtwig, but interestingly an Alpha Turtwig spawned earlier and caught that. Hoping the next shiny Turtwig appears soon so I can continue with the story! I’ve just beaten the third warden mission. And come across a strangely familiar face.

EDIT: I have however come across a shiny Carnivine whilst hunting for my Turtwig! What are the odds!

After finishing the third Noble mission yesterday, I went back to the first two areas and explored the areas that became available now that I have Basculegion ride. Caught a bunch of Pokemon but the best one was a lvl 50 Alpha Sligoo (my team is in mid/late 30s btw) that I now added to my main team. Also finished a few easy requests like the Psyduck medicine one or the Scyther cutting roses one and now I'm ready to continue the story and go to the new area. I have six stars now after doing all of this.

What omg how did u get Alpha sligoo?? I have 3 stars and it says its not obtainable. =[[

It's in the second area, the Lilligant one, but I think you need Basculegion to get there. It's the middle bottom part of the map, it's called Holm of Trials. Sligoo sits on the small island in the middle of a tiny lake on the right side of that bottom middle area that's cut off by the river, hopefully I explained it well enough and you'll be able to find it. I was just exploring and found it by accident lol, it was a great surprise.

I have Basculegion and found it there.
But when I aim my poke ball at it, it says "unobtainable". Like i cant catch it

I ran past that Alpha while riding Wyndeer. It caught me off guard as I was just passing through to get to the other side and it knocked me off Wyndeer with continuous Bubbles.

I caught it at that point too, strange, I battled it and caught it like the old ways. It then evolved shortly afterwards because it was raining

I'm about six hours into the game....and I just got the ability to ride Wyrdeer. I've been having way too much fun running around the Obsidian Field lands, exploring, collecting resources for crafting, and Eevee hunting. I wasn't able to catch Alpha Kricketune because it was cutting through my team WAY too quickly so I had to KO it. Hopefully I'll come across another one soon.

You can find Eevee by the horseshoe-shaped lake in the Obsidian Fieldlands. There is a way to get them to spawn. Austin John Plays has a good video on how to find them and their Eevelution items.

Actually i hate this hunting license gimmick. As in your rank is too low, you can't handle it. I hope they ditch this. I don't mind disobedience like past games, but not allowed to catch it who created this nonsense?

The Wild Area in SwSh did the same thing with some overworld Pokémon like Gengar and Xatu.

I know. I actually caught an Eevee stuck inside a rift while avoiding this Rhydon that was literally next to it. Stupid rift happened just as I reached the area to get Dusclops and I had to teleport back to the Camp and go all the way back just to get rid of the rift.

The good thing is I figured out you can easily catch pokemon from within the rift if you just stand outside of... from a safe distance of course. lol

The only exception is Toxicroak, who came running out and straight for me. I had to duck and hide at the bottom of a cliff to avoid it.
